Monday 17 September 2012 -- Rope Tornado Southwest of Topeka, Kansas

Around the Kansas City area I had to work and was not able to chase.  A peer of mine said he was able to and was on the storm that was moving southeast.  He intercepted it at about Ottawa, Kansas.  When I told him there was a tornado report on it, he was surprised.
